Our Advanced Bio-Oxidation Process

Bio-oxidation is a proven alternative to high cost, maintenance-intensive air emission control systems.

Bio·Reaction's Bio·Oxidizers operate under induced draft, pulling the contaminated air stream into the humidification vessel and over or through a water sump. The sump drops out water-soluble compounds, assists with humidification of the air stream, and harbors bacteria for additional treatment.

The contaminants captured in the water-phase are circulated over an inorganic media in the Bio-trickling Chamber for additional humidification and treatment.

The Bio-Matrix Chamber contains Bio·Reaction's patented Bio·airSPHERES™ media for digestion and final breakdown of contaminants. The contaminants are converted to carbon dioxide and water vapor and released into the atmosphere.

The control panel monitors and adjusts temperature, humidity, fan and pump parameters, providing a stable, reliable, and easy to maintain bio-oxidation system.
